It can be bagged or bundled and set out next to your cans on trash collection day. Please don't mix trash with yard waste. » Bulk trash service - you can still call 311 to schedule curbside collection of 3 items per month. WHAT IS CHANGING? » Your days of service. * Beginning July 13, the City will collect waste Tuesday through Friday. Saturday will be the automatic make up collection for holidays that fall on a collection day. (There will be no collections on July 13) * Beginning July 13, to insure pick up, set out your cans no later than 6 a.m. * You may set your trash out the night before as long as it's in a can with a lid. * You will set out your recycling at the same place you set out your trash. » You will still have two collections BUT one will be for trash, AND one will be for recycling only. ON A PERSONAL NOTE: When I contacted Michael and his staff there was no hesitation as long as his schedule permitted him to attend our parade. My job was to make sure we had proper security in place and keep Michael on time as he had other obligations that day. I can tell you anyone, child or adult that reached out to Michael to shake his hand or sign an autograph he would do it. Many times I had to interrupt him and pull him away to keep him on schedule. I found out that Michael depends on the others to keep him on schedule this way he can spend as much time as possible with the people and when it came to the children he spent time with every one of our teams for a team picture. Of course with so many people some of them missed a wonderful opportunity to be with a wonderful person. I remember at the end, some childs grandmother came running Michael was going to his truck and getting in to attend his next engagement. The grandmother stood there and cried, The only thing I could think to do is comfort her a little so I hugged her and told her don't you worry he will be back to see us and you will be there. I hope I can find her in Morrell Park. All in all this was a very special day for our community and we treated Michael like one of the family nothing but good food friends and a hometown parade. And we all enjoyed it and felt special all because of Michael Phelps. Thank you Michael
And thanks to the Morrell Park Little League a great parade this year, Thanks to Morrell Park St Pauls Improvement Association, The American Legion post 137 and all of the volunteers that made the event successful.
